Trailer

Elbtonal Percussion makes it possible, and with its Education Programme it offers special events aimed at youth. Elbtonal Percussion’s Pupils’ Concert (Schülerkonzert) is a musical world tour – interactive and moderated. The most varied rhythms and musical traditions of other countries and cultures are carefully examined and tips given about how you can make music with everyday objects. The four percussionists not only let the pupils watch them swinging their drumsticks, but also give them an up-close look at their inventory of very different percussion instruments and sound bodies.
The musical world trip lasts about one hour and is aimed at pupils aged 8 and above. What has proved especially successful is combining the pupils’ concerts with evening concerts, where the same hall and arrangement can be used for both concert situations.
